“Places” gives you the opportunity to see the location and number of photos you have taken spread out onto a world map. You can find “Places” in the left-hand menu. The map automatically places your photos based on the photo-information stored in the photo’s files. Photos that are missing its location-information will not be placed on the map. You can easily add this information at any time. To learn more about adding photo-information, click here. To add location-information you can follow the steps bellow:
- Click the “Check”-icon placed in the left-hand corner of the photo.
- A grey toolbar will appear at the top of the page. Click on the icon displaying a tag pointing into a circle.
- A window till pop up and you will be given the option of placing a point on a map or writing and searching for an address. Click “Done” when you have chosen the location of the photos.
Note: You can add location-information to several photos at the same time. Select the photos by clicking the “Check”-icon placed in the left-hand corner of the photos. Then, follow steps two and three. All photos containing location-information can be found on the map under “Places”.
